Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Jayne Milano (born December 19, 1972 in New York City) is an American actress. Alyssa Milano currently appears in The WB program Charmed. Milano was born to Italian parents Tom and Lin Milano and has a younger brother, Cory (born 1982), who is also an actor. One of Alyssa Milano's first acting roles was in the television program Who's the Boss? with Tony Danza, Judith Light and Katherine Helmond.

For the majority of Alyssa Milano's career Milano was known for Alyssa Milano's role on Who's the Boss?, something which Alyssa Milano tried to shed by appearing in many very adult film roles. Many of these included nudity or very graphic (simulated) sex scenes. Many actresses do not manage to escape the stigma of such a career turn, but Milano redeemed herself with Alyssa Milano's success on Melrose Place and especially Charmed.

Milano is also an accomplished singer and recording artist, though not in Alyssa Milano's home country of the United States. Alyssa Milano has released 5 albums that have all reached sales of over 1 million copies in Japan. Alyssa Milano even appeared in the blink-182 video for the song "Josie".

In 1989 Alyssa Milano's image was used for the character development of Ariel in the Disney movie, The Little Mermaid.

Milano is an avid fan of tattoos and has several of them. Alyssa Milano is dating Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brad Penny. Alyssa Milano was briefly married to Remy Zero lead singer Cinjun Tate.
